AFA publishes the 2024 Annual Report

ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) made significant strides in recent years: a reflection of the Federation growing influence regionally and globally

The AFA Annual Report 2024 is now officially released. The report summarizes key activities and achievements of the Federations, as well as highlighting the key events from AFA members during 2024.

“ASEAN Federation of Accountants (AFA) has made significant strides in recent years, which reflect ASEAN's impressive economic development and strategic positioning” said AFA President (2024-2025) Prof. Dr. Doan Xuan Tien. “The 2024 Annual Report highlights our achievements and sets the stage for future collaborations, engaged with international stakeholders. AFA strives to play a pivotal role in enhancing the capacity of PAOs across the region and uniting ASEAN voices at global level”.

AFA Annual Report 2024 underlines the strategic and influence of Southeast Asia accounting profession at global stage. While focussing on PAO Capacity Building, AFA strives for global agendas, including sustainability issues and thought leadership. During 2024, AFA had organized at the least 24 Meetings and 4 engagements, supported more than 10 events, and published 4 reports. “AFA's efforts in uniting the ASEAN voice, building PAO capacity, and embracing new opportunities are paving the way for a sustainable and impactful future. We look forward to continued collaboration and success, together with AFA Members and key stakeholders.” said AFA Executive Director Edward Tanujaya, who will be concluding his tenure as of 20 June 2025.

Looking ahead to 2025, AFA is committed to achieving greatness under the guidance of the new leadership of Office Bearer, the incoming Executive Director, and the Secretariat. The organization will always be guided by three principles: collaboration, integrity, and excellence.
